Hi! Glad you stopped in. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Beatrice Giesbrecht and I am a writer, wife, mother and stay at home executive (that means I get to stay home and do all the fun stuff like play with my kids, do dishes, laundry, clean jam out of the crevices in the couch and marker off of the walls – you know, the messy stuff :). I have a passion for words and I love to put them together into something meaningful, or thought provoking, or sometimes just plain silly. I tried to write fiction for many years, but the flow just wasn’t there. Many friends told me I should just start by writing what I know, so I decided to take their advice.
And what do I know? Life. I can definitely write about life because it happens to me every day, just like it happens to you. Life isn’t scripted. There are no dress rehearsals, no do overs, and plenty of mistakes along the way. Because life is messy, but that’s what makes it special. It’s messy and fun, painful and crazy, joyous and uncertain, scary and yet filled with those beautiful moments that take your breath away. That’s what I want to write about. I hope you will join me on the journey as I throw some “paint” on my giant canvas.
