Well, I have finally done it. I have started a blog after thinking and talking about it for almost 3 years. I have always wanted to be a writer but found that there was a major difference between writers and myself – they write. So, I have “picked up my pen” and decided to change that.
That being said, I started thinking about what I could write about. Yes, for a while I entertained the thought of starting on a grandiose attempt at writing the next best seller in the fiction market, but common sense has had her say and encouraged me to write about what I know. And what do I know? Life. I can definitely write about life because it happens to me every day, just like it happens to you. It is the one thing that we can each agree is constant while we draw breath and the one thing that we all share. We can also agree that life is full of change. Life isn’t scripted. There are no dress rehearsals, no do overs, and plenty of mistakes along the way. It’s messy and fun, painful and crazy, joyous and uncertain, scary and yet filled with those beautiful moments that take your breath away. That’s what I want to write about. I hope you will join me on the journey as I throw some ” paint” on my giant canvas.
